Alfred & Jane have been making homemade ice cream in the Bega Valley for 5 years. Taken from a secret family recipe, they use only natural ingredients — nothing is artificial — and they utilise as much seasonal local produce as they can possibly source. Their parfait-style ice cream is hand made and all flavours are gluten-free.

This region offers a wide diversity of fruits and nuts from local growers, who they actively promote at the various markets & festivals they attend. Their philosophy is to make the most of local produce.

You can find them regularly at markets up and down the coast at Moruya, Candelo, Pambula, Merimbula, Bermagui and Nethercote.

Local seasonal produce used in their ice cream includes: passionfruit, fingerlime, peach, lemon, orange, lime, hazelnuts, macadamia nuts, raspberry, strawberry, boysenberry, blackberry, cherry, loganberry, blood plum, mulberry, honey & Tahitian lime! Phew!

Cobargo Home Made Ice Creams are sold in individual recyclable containers, but they also cater for larger groups for weddings and parties etc.

Make sure you sample these delicious treats at the HARVEST on Saturday 17th March — before they sell out!
